The loss of our urban forests are at an all time high in the middle of a climate emergency.

I recently came across a remnant stand of lowland Kahikatea forest being logged. 
Hard to believe, I know... Public pressure is working.

The 'developer' has agreed to stop chopping them down.
He wondered why Auckland Council even gave them a resource concent in the first place

This is the last straw!

Minister for local governments Nanaia Mahuta MUST give local council the power to reintroduce tree protection rules under the Local Government Act.

Please write to her and demand she protects our heritage now!
