Disturbing footage of Aotearoa’s biggest pig farm,
combined with a graphic testimony from someone who used to work there.

This has got to be one of the most shocking things I have had anything to do with.

Here are a couple of years worth of footage here and a very brave whistle blower.

It’s not an easy watch, I know, but please consider sharing to raise awareness about the state of industrial pig farming in this country.

The industry has delayed welfare improvements for decades, and continues to describe their standards as ‘world leading’.
Let’s shine a light on what really goes on, and have a deeper conversation about the moral implications of farming animals and the environment at this scale.

It's NZ's largest pig farm. Located on the banks of the Hurunui River, North Canterbury, South Island. They sell over 100,000+ pigs per year. Heaps dont even make it to slaughter.. Workers say they dump the bodies down by the river.

This footage shows what industrial scale intensive pig farming looks like and hopefully raises deeper conversations about how we treat animals and the environment.

This farm has what the NZ pig farming industry would describe as ‘world leading’ standards. If that’s true, it’s a sorry state of affairs.

Is this what we want to be known for?
